Dhupguri's infamous big landowner Nobin Mukherjee wants to build a cold storage business by taking away all the cropland from poor farmers like Dhiraj. When Dhiraj in no way agrees to sell his small piece of land, Nobin's men brutally murders him one morning when he is working on his land. After this, the cold storage is successfully constructed and a manager is appointed to take care of the business. one day, the manager notices that certain eerie events are taking place in the premises of the cold storage, especially on that part of the storage which previously belonged to Dhiraj Bagdi. This story is basically about Dhiraj Bagdi, a low caste, poor farmer from the village of Dhupguri. The notorious landlord of Dhupguri, Naveen Mukhujje, decides to build a new cold storage in the village and starts buying up the land from the poor farmers. But Dhiraj is not willing to sell his land. Seeing that no way to get the land is working, one morning, Naveen's people brutally murder Dhiraj. Then the cold storage is built and a manager takes charge of the business. One day, the manager notices that strange, unreal events are happening in the cold storage, exactly on the spot where Dhiraj Bagdi's land used to be.
