Kruger NP Maroela Satellite Camp – Better Than Tzendze

Maroela Satellite Camp is one of my favorite places in the Kruger National Park – and in this video, I explain why I prefer it over Tsendze. During this trip we were incredibly fortunate with sightings. We saw all of the Big Five except the elusive leopard, plus wild dogs, with some truly unforgettable moments in the bush. What really sets Maroela apart, especially in December, is how quiet and peaceful it is compared to the rest of Kruger. Less traffic, fewer people, and more space to simply enjoy the park the way it was meant to be experienced. For me, that makes a massive difference. Kruger is my happy place, and Maroela Satellite Camp delivers exactly what I look for: great wildlife, a relaxed atmosphere, and a true bush experience.
