Mack Ave: Woodward to 10 Mile | 4K No Talking Drive

A relaxing drive up the full length of Mack Ave from Detroit to St Clair Shores. We are starting today’s drive at Woodward Ave in Detroit. If we turned left, we would be on ML King Blvd. Turning right puts us on Mack Ave at the south end of the Detroit Medical Center (DMC) complex and Wayne State University’s Applebaum center for pharmacy & health sciences. Going through Detroit we will pass through the Eastern Market, Islandview, and Riverbend neighborhoods. After we cross Alter Rd, we enter the Grosse Pointes, starting with Grosse Pointe Park. At this crossing, Mack Ave becomes Greater Mack Ave. I don’t know why it’s greater but many roads in metro Detroit change names as we cross city and county borders. We end today’s drive at 10 Mile Rd, where Greater Mack ends. Little Mack Ave is a few blocks west of here running from 9 to 14 mile and will be a separate video.
