Repeat after me... Their childhood is my motherhood! Every year, I tell myself I'm going to go easy, and every year, I look at what I've picked up throughout the year and shake my head. This is my absolute favorite season of the year. It's the time when I go all out to make sure Christmas is as magical as it can possibly be.. because let's face it.. those short innocent childhood years are so fleeting, and we never know when the last truly magical one will be! This year, I shopped for Samuel, aged 9, Jacob aged 4, and Emily aged 18 months (at the time of filming.. she is 20 months old now... can you believe that!). I hope this video brings you nothing but the joy it was intended to bring. Please don't compare yourself to someone on YouTube if your Christmas does not look like mine or the next person.. maybe you spent less.. maybe you spent more.. maybe all of your gifts are new, and maybe just like me, there is a considerable amount that are not. Our kids will all be just as excited on Christmas morning either way! Also, to be totally transparent, I did spend roughly the same on each child (around $300AUD), and they all have the same amount of packages to open on Christmas morning.
