Today this singing natural perfumer distilled a true southern belle, the highly perfumed Magnolia flower. It was another 100F forage but I was determined that these beautiful flowers become a Wild Card Wednesday feature. This distillation did not disappoint. The hydrosol speaks of the most sophisticated of lemon perfumes; fresh yet floral. This is a distillation I'll return to in bigger volume as these big scented flowers return over the summer here in Sacramento.
