Kent Trail Run - 12th June 2026

Starting at "Great Comp Garden" nr St Marys Platt village a clockwise circular route heading to Wrotham Heath and Offham and back to Great Comp Garden. 5.57 miles (planned 8.7!) Offham is a village and civil parish in the local government district of Tonbridge and Malling in Kent, England, five miles to the west of Maidstone. Offham has a quintain on the village green that was reported in medieval times for use in jousting. It is reputed to be the last English quintain in its original position, though it was removed for safekeeping during the Second World War. The quintain (from Latin "fifth"), also known as pavo (Latin "peacock"), may have included a number of lance games, often used as a training aid for jousting, where the competitor would attempt to strike a stationary object with a lance.
