This has caused significant disruption to the lives of citizens and economic activity on the peninsula. Ferry services across the Kerch Strait, a vital sea route connecting Crimea with Russia's Krasnodar region, have also been temporarily suspended. Regarding casualties, Sergey Aksyonov reported 4 deaths and 28 injuries in Crimea. In Krasnodar, a Ukrainian drone attack on a ferry operating in the Kerch Strait killed one person and injured another.
