Years ago, after graduating from college, getting married, and starting my own family, my beautiful mom taught me how to make this meal, amongst many others. As I reflected on those memories, I was reminded of an important life lesson: perspective matters. Just as the same photograph can look different depending on the angle, people often view situations through different lenses. Perspective influences what we notice, but facts help determine what is true.
