Dead batteries. Empty coffee. One V-Strom in the middle of a forest road. This was supposed to be a simple ride: a bit of off-road, a bit of asphalt, and a full thermos. Instead I got a loose battery terminal, an empty coffee flask, and a reminder of how much our rides now depend on electricity. In this V-Strom mis-adventure I: – Stall in the middle of nowhere, – Fix the bike and keep the electronics alive with a 20,000 mAh Ugreen power bank and the Chigee TR100, – And finally save the day with a moka pot espresso in the woods.
