I cut out orange slices from another fabric. 2) I placed padding polyester under the circle and swept the slices with a zigzag. 3) I also cut out the second circle for the reverse side. I marked the button locations on it. 4) I sewed the second piece that will cover the buttons; it is a little more than a semicircle. 5) I connected these two parts together, sewed a loop and finished it with a rulik. The potholder is ready. Next we sew the towel itself. I rounded the corners, sewed bias tape on the opposite side, and added folds. I stitched the bar and attached the other two parts of the buttons. The towel is easily attached to the potholder and just as easily detached; you can sew two towels into one circle. Second copy. It’s easier to sew, but still just as interesting. Take a waffle towel and cut it to the desired size. For decoration, you can sew lace or a beautiful ribbon. Add folds. We attach 2 rectangles of fabric, approximately 12–15 cm long, the edges of the towel are inside. We turn all the edges inward. On the opposite side we attach a strip 2–3 cm wide. This towel hangs on the oven handle or other horizontal handle on furniture. It’s a pity to wipe your hands on such beauty.
