After a careful selection process, Miss Nur Surya Binte Mohamed Ambiah was chosen to be the new face of the Singapore Girl wax figure at Madame Tussauds. Miss Lim Suet Kwee, the first Madame Tussauds model for the Singapore Girl wax figure in 1993, played a crucial role in the selection process. A series of interviews were held, and several factors were considered during the process - the most important being the need to embody the characteristics of the iconic Singapore Girl, who is synonymous with our brand. Last September, Ms. Nur Surya Binte Mohamed Ambiah, a cabin crew with Singapore Airlines, was chosen to be the model for the new waxwork at Madame Tussauds Singapore. The Madame Tussauds team measured and photographed her, inch by inch. The wax figure of the Singapore Girl can be seen on display at Madame Tussauds Singapore, located at the Imbiah Lookout in Sentosa. Singapore Airlines, A Great Way To Fly.
