2026 MNHBC Performance Workshop at the TCJF

Here is a 2-minute sample from our performance of the original solo transcriptions of Wynton Kelly and Miles Davis on "Freddie Freeloader" from the album Kind of Blue. Madeline Elmhirst (piano), John Pohl (guitar), Matt Ash (vocals), Megan Fitterman (vocals), Jesse Simon (percussion), and Adam Ziemet (percussion) all came together for this one. We took it on as an in-depth study of blues jazz improvisation, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we created. What an amazing year.
