Train DERAILS at Atlanta's Airport
ACCIDENTS HAPPEN: At approximately 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, this out-of-service MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) train derailed near the station at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. No one was injured. Following a preliminary investigation, MARTA says the last two cars of the six car train jumped the tracks as they crossed over an interlocking switch. A further investigation will be done to determine exactly how this happened. #transit #train #news
