Cultura de seguridad y cultura justa

In this session of the Advanced Program in Safety, Culture, and Preventive Leadership, Abel Lacasa Ruiz addresses one of the fundamental pillars of safe organizations: safety culture and a just culture. During the webinar, participants will analyze what it truly means to have a mature preventive culture, how organizations evolve at different levels of maturity, and why culture has a direct influence on the occurrence of serious and fatal accidents. The session also delves into the concept of a just culture, clearly differentiating between human error and negligent behavior, as well as the importance of creating environments where people can report incidents, deviations, and problems without unjustified fear of retaliation. Furthermore, the session reviews the main indicators that allow participants to determine whether an organization has a strong safety culture or, conversely, shows signs of deteriorating preventive practices. A training program specifically aimed at managers, supervisors and occupational health and safety officers who want to understand what preventive leadership should really monitor: consistency between production and safety, quality of incident reporting, clarity of rules and active participation of teams in safety.
