WACC Components in Bloomberg
In this video, students learn how to find elements of the weighted average cost of capital (WACC) using Bloomberg. It starts off with a brief introduction to Bloomberg and how to access it. Students are then introduced to the WACC function. For the remainder of the video, students can learn how to find the cost of debt, cost of equity, weight of debt, weight of equity, and tax rate using Bloomberg functions. It is well known among the financial community for its black interface, which has become a recognizable trait of the service. The first version of the terminal was released in December 1982.
