Some people I met in this video came here 20, 30, 40 or even 50 years ago, while many others were born in Pakistan. I visited Musa Colony, where a large Bangladeshi community in Pakistan lives. The colony has a big local market where meat, fish, jewelry and everyday items are sold. I explored the market, checked the prices and talked to local Bangladeshi residents in Pakistan in Bangla. In this vlog I also interviewed several members of the community to learn about their livelihood and income of Bangladeshi migrants. Most of them are involved in small businesses and different jobs. I also shared a short history about how many Bangladeshi migrants in Pakistan came during and after the Partition of India period. During my visit, I was invited to a Bangladeshi family's home and had a meal with them, which showed the hospitality and culture of the Bangladeshi diaspora in Pakistan.
