Merweville is a Beautiful Tiny Village in the Karoo! Ep 144

Day 1: We were so happy to turn off the very busy N1 after we left Touws River and the beautiful gravel road that greeted us was such a relief. This road was going to take us all the way to the tiny village of Merweville in the heart of the Karoo. This area is one of the most arid in the Karoo. The road was amazing, we saw incredible rock formations, springbok jumping around and even a scarecrow! Then we arrived in Merweville and headed directly to the church. I was able to hear the organ in action, climb to the top of the church tower and look over the town and then we had to rush to reach Letterkop, a hill overlooking the town to have a sundowner.
