Once again, welcome back to The H Channel!   George Town, the capital city of Penang, is one of the prides of Malaysia. Listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 2008, it features Malaysia’s best restored and re-adaptive traditional architecture as well as a multitude of heritage trades and arts.   In the early days, the Island of Penang was on the trade routes; therefore, it was a place where many persons emigrated, especially those coming from China. Arising out of the needs of those coming from mainland China, clan associations were established, dating from the early 1800s.
