Reading Returns! To the Perkiomen Railroad
In October of 2009, the Upper Perkiomen Chamber of Commerce hosted another series of train excursions over the old Perkiomen Branch of the Reading Railroad. Much like the previous year, this year consisted of the ex-Reading FP7A Diesel Locomotives #902 & #903. They will be pulling a quartet of passenger cars, a boxcar, and on the north end, will be East Penn Railroad's ex-Conrail GP10 #7554 (nee-NYC GP9). This video compiles of a few shots from the entire weekends, some from Saturday and a few from Sunday. If you're a fan of beautiful scenery, the Reading Railroad, or "Covered Wagon" diesel locomotives, then this is the video-preview for you! The full-length feature video will be for sale this June. Stay tuned for further details.
