colubrina's the green girl [TMM]

Round 5 (Last!) of jemmalynette's The Multiverse Mission Challenge. We had to do a 'fix-it' where we had to redo a story line/plot point we didn't like. So after reading Colubrina's The Green Girl, I wanted to do the story line where Hermione Granger is sorted into a different house and how it overall changed the events of the books. It's a fix-it for me because The Green Girl delves more into socio-political aspects that Rowling tended to gloss over and giving us a more in-depth view of the other Houses besides Gryffindor especially Slytherin which is the House of 'bad witches and wizards' Also, Colubrina writes the characters as multi-dimensional with plot twists that give the story such color. And Dramione is everything. Perfect story is perfect. Plot: Based on Colubrina's The Green Girl. In their First Year, Hermione Granger is unexpectedly sorted into Slytherin House and instantly finds herself adopted by the people in her House because Slytherins stick together. Facing discrimination and hate from all the other Houses, Hermione grows up ambitious and determined. Draco falls for her and is devastated when she is petrified by the Basiisk in their Second Year. Their romance develops over the years as they deal with teen drama, politics and an upcoming war. When Voldermort returns after their Fourth Year, Hermione becomes his favorite and she kills Albus Dumbledore herself. Knowing Voldemort is too unstable to remain in power, she plots with the other Slytherins and poisons him at her and Draco's wedding. A new world begins where they are in charge.
