Official finishing time 3:20:02 2325th finisher out of 23848 and 184th in M45 out of 1330 Had a plan to stick to a pace that was achievable for the full distance but would also get me a new PB. Ran well and was able to stick to the pace I wanted, everything was going fine, until about mile 22, when I started getting some minor cramps in the calves. I was able to ride these out for a while, but they got quite severe in the last half mile and had to keep stopping to try and stretch them out to get across the line. Still managed to set a new PB by over 3 minutes, but not quite the 8 I was aiming for. Think the increased heat probably led to the cramping issues.
