DIY WAFFLE CONES & WAFFLE BOWLS RECIPE | EASY & SIMPLE | HOW TO MAKE ICE CREAM CONES

Homemade waffle cones are my favourite! This is an easy homemade ice cream cone recipe that you can make at home! So simple and delicious - way better than store bought ice cream cones! FULL RECIPE BELOW! Ingredients 2 large egg whites pinch of salt ¾ cup confectioner’s sugar ½ cup all-purpose flour ¼ tsp vanilla extract ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled cooking spray Directions 1. Beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Add the salt and 1 tbsp confectioner’s sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Fold in the vanilla extract and remaining confectioner’s sugar with a spatula. Add the flour and butter and fold to combine. 2. Heat a pizelle or waffle cone iron and spray with cooking spray. Spoon a tablespoon of batter into iron, close the iron and cook for 2 minutes. 3. Open the iron and immediately shape the waffle into your desired shape, using a butter knife or a spatula. To make a cone, roll the waffle into a cone shape using a cone shaper and press the seam down onto the hot iron to seal. Hold with the knife for about 1 minute, while it cools. Then transfer to a wire rack. To make a bowl, shape the waffle over an upside down cupcake pan. Leave the waffle there until cool. For a more defined bowl shape, press a bowl of a similar size on top of the waffle and gently press down to mold the waffle to the cupcake pan. Keep in place until the waffle has cooled. Enjoy!
