Surviving an 80MPH Blizzard with a Wok by a Lost Lake | 3 Days Alone

I went backpacking with a Wok in the Scottish Highlands expecting a tough winter hike… but ended up caught in an 80MPH blizzard with whiteout conditions, freezing wind, and near-zero visibility. Alone in the mountains with a 23kg backpack, I had to navigate through deep snow, boggy terrain, and extreme wind chill while trying to find a safe place to camp. What should have been a wilderness camping trip quickly turned into a survival situation. At one point, I genuinely struggled to continue moving forward in the blizzard. Yet, Wok Hei kept me going. This is a raw 3-day winter backpacking journey in the Scottish Highlands— featuring extreme weather, power of the Wok, the physical limits of a city upbringing, solo wilderness travel, and a near-abandonment in dangerous conditions.
