CeNHRI: A New Chapter for Newborn Health in Nigeria

The Centre for Newborn Health Research and Innovation (CeNHRI) was established in response to one of the most urgent challenges in public health: improving newborn survival and health outcomes through evidence, innovation, and strengthened health systems. As Nigeria's first dedicated centre for newborn health research and innovation—and the first institution of its kind in Africa—CeNHRI serves as a platform for research, capacity strengthening, simulation-based learning, policy engagement, and innovation translation aimed at improving the quality of newborn care.
