It is the year 1829. Two neighboring landowners—Rajendra Narayan Choudhury and Harinath Roy—have been embroiled in a bitter rivalry for years over land, taxes, and ego. After a series of unexplained misfortunes, Rajendra secretly seeks out a reclusive tantrik living near an old cremation ground on the banks of the Mansai River. The tantrik agrees to perform a forbidden midnight ritual. His only warning is simple: "Whatever you ask for... do not mention its name." The next morning, Harinath's estate begins to fall apart. But so does Rajendra's. The villagers are left with only one question— Was someone cursed... Or did the two men together awaken something no one understood?
