Manufactured in Japan but acquired in Switzerland in 1973, this device brought important innovations for the time, such as ferrite heads, Dolby B, and chrome tapes. With a well-designed project and construction built to last, after restoration this Sony is working as well as it did in 1973. The sound is rich and detailed, it's surprising. Listen to the test and judge for yourself.
