Japan's Most Isolated Masjid: 100km From Anything | Niigata Road Trip - Part 2

We drove hours into the Niigata countryside to give the first lectures at one of the most remote masjids in Japan (over 100km from the nearest Muslim community!) This is Part 2 of our Niigata road trip, and I hope you enjoy! In this video, we visit Amina Masjid, a brand new masjid built for international students thanks to a generous waqf donation. I lectured on integrating into Japanese society as a Muslim breaking down Japan's core cultural value of harmony, the concept of "reading the air," and why traditional da'wah methods don't work here. This channel documents the real, on-the-ground work of building Muslim community in Japan. Not just this trip, but the larger mission behind The Muslim Minority of Japan: Flourish, Connect, Cultivate, Imagine, and Build. None of this (the travel, the new masjids, the lectures, the documentation) happens without the people who choose to stand behind it. If this video moved you, the most direct way to be part of what comes next is to join our monthly membership on Buy Me a Coffee. This isn't a tip for a video, it's a seat at the table for a decades-long mission to help Islam become a lasting, integrated part of Japanese society. Every member is directly funding the next trip, the next masjid visit, the next community we get to stand alongside. 👉 Join the mission: https://buymeacoffee.com/themuslimmin... Jazakum Allah khairan to everyone already supporting — this masjid opening, this video, this moment was made possible because of you.
