You can do this if you have a condition that prevents you from standing or lying down for long periods of time to do crunches. It's a lower-impact way to keep moving while practicing belly dance core movements. I've received messages from people reporting joint pain, fibromyalgia, lupus, and other autoimmune diseases that affect the musculoskeletal system in certain ways, so I created this routine as an option to keep moving.
