A Conversation with Reverend Dr. Otis Moss III hosted by Dr. Frank A. Thomas

The African American Legacy Preaching Series of Christian Theological Seminary presents “A Conversation with Reverend Dr. Otis Moss III hosted by Dr. Frank A. Thomas.” Rev. Dr. Otis Moss is a preaching phenomenon. pastor, poet, activist, author and filmmaker with a heart for justice focused faith. He preaches a theology of liberation rooted in a Black Spirituality of love and justice, which he believes form the foundation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is often considered a current day Artistic Genius who demonstrates how to create a space to cojoin the arts and ministry in service and worship. Rev. Dr. Moss has published several books; his most recent is Blue Note Preaching in a Post-Soul World: Finding Hope in an Age of Despair. He also created “Otis’ Dream”, a short film about his grandfather’s unsuccessful attempt to vote in 1946. This interview with Rev.
