Sahil Güvenlik Komutanlığının 44. Yıl Dönümü

A ceremony was held in Samsun to commemorate the 44th anniversary of the establishment of the Coast Guard Command. The ceremony in Samsun began with the laying of a wreath at the Atatürk Monument. A moment of silence was observed, the national anthem was sung, and the history of the Coast Guard Command was read. Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Barış Kaya stated that the Coast Guard Command is the unwavering protector of the "blue homeland," the guarantor of the security, peace, and future of the seas. Kaya noted that the Command has continuously developed, modernized, and strengthened since its establishment, and that with its high-tech ships, boats, air assets, and qualified personnel, the Coast Guard Command is one of the leading coast guard organizations in the world.
