Enid Blyton Trail, Dorset - Walking In The Footsteps of Enid Blyton

Welcome to this Enid Blyton Trail vlog where we go walking in Enid Blyton's Footsteps. Enid Blyton wrote hundreds of books for kids, but some of the most famous, included The Famous Five, The Secret Seven and Noddy. In the beautiful English county of Dorset, there is a beautiful Enid Blyton Trail that you can follow to see many of the locations that inspired Enid Blyton to write about in her books. We were kindly given permission by Visit Dorset to use their Enid Blyton Trail map, and in this Enid Blyton vlog, we visit all of the locations on the Enid Blyton Trail map. Places on the Enid Blyton Trail map include, Corfe Castle, which was the inspiration for Kirrin Castle from the Famous Five books. Other places include, Swanage, Stair Hole, Kimmeridge, The Blue Pool, Stoborough Heath, The Isle of Purback Golf Club, Studland and Brownsea Island. These were all places that were dear to Enid Blyton and she would use them as inspiration for locations in her books. Make sure you grab your lashings of ginger beer, pack up a picnic, and follow us around The Isle Of Purbeck and surrounding areas in Dorset, as we literally walk in the footsteps of Enid Blyton. This Enid Blyton Trail was part of our recent short stay in Dorset, where we stayed in a beautiful shepherd's hut in the woods at the foot of Corfe Castle, or should we say, Kirrin Castle.
