I Struck Gold at Waterloo Records | Joe DeRosa

I headed to Waterloo Records in Austin, Texas with one goal: find something worth bringing home. What started as a quick stop turned into a full-blown collector's hunt through rare vinyl, forgotten cassettes, boutique Blu-rays, and shelves packed with music and movie history. I also did my best to dive into the video section, living out my own Criterion Channel fantasy. On the music side, I searched for rare finds connected to artists and collectors I've always admired, including Esoteric, Kool Keith, Bobbito Garcia, Czarface, Digital Underground, and the legendary Shock G. Whether it's vinyl, physical media, cassettes, or cult cinema, there's nothing quite like the thrill of finding something unexpected in a great record store. MORE: Welcome to the Joe DeRosa Youtube channel! This is the best destination for folks to watch classic (aka old) comedy bits, brand-new stand-up and specials, and original videos and content. Dive into me! This is where I’m supposed to say I have a “sardonic style” or “unapologetic humor” and that there’s a variety of “sidesplitting videos” here. I don’t know. Who am I to judge? In any case, subscribe now (I believe it’s called smashing the button?) and get ready to see that button smashed! Also, you’ll hopefully have a few laughs and enjoy yourself and our time together.
