Shawm reed making with Ian Harrison part 1 - Getting the tools and materials together
I have recorded a series of six videos, principally for my students at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, teaching them how I make reeds for soprano and alto shawms starting from gouged and profiled modern bassoon cane. It might be interesting for others too. The first vidoe in the series is now ready and here it is. Please feel free to comment and criticise. More will follow.
