I'll explain why you shouldn't cast too far, what depth (around 90 cm to 1 m) is optimal, and how to recognize subtle bites. You'll also get tips on the right tackle (6–6.5 kg rods, 5.5 kg line, hook sizes 6–12) and why short rods are advantageous here. You'll also catch bass here – especially in the mornings and evenings, which offer a higher chance of trophy-sized fish.
