Fernando wants clear explanations, why Emilio didn't tell him about Isabel's arrival. They stop arguing, when Isabel arrives. Isabel and Fernando are going to have dinner outside. Rudy is waiting for telephone call from Manuela. The last telephone call is son of don Roquelio. When Roquelio finishes his call, lady Eulalia needs to use the phone and Rudy, now angry, leaves. The nun guards the sleep of Manuela in the church bedroom. Isabel and Fernando are having dinner in the restaurant. Fernando seems to be nervous and leaves the dinner for making telephone call. Fernando calls to pension Amelia, and Rosario tells him, that Manuela isn't there. Rudy wants to call or visit Fernando in hotel Hassler, but Rosario prevents it, telling Rudy, that also Fernando is asking for Manuela. Fernando and Isabel returned to hotel but receptionist has no messages for Fernando. Sleeping Manuela reminds the nun of her own lost daughter.
