Dual Motion Sensor Driven IKEA LED Lighted Handrail Build

In this video, I'll show you how I built a dual motion sensor-driven IKEA LED lighted handrail for my basement stairwell. This IKEA LED handrail automatically illuminates when someone approaches the stairs, creating a safer and more modern-looking stairway without the need for expensive smart home hardware. Rather than following IKEA's recommended ecosystem design, I found a way to build this lighted handrail for roughly 2/5ths the component cost by pairing IKEA motion sensors directly to IKEA smart plugs—eliminating the need for the DIRIGERA hub while maintaining the same functionality. This DIY IKEA hack combines the KABBLEKA LED light strip, MYGGSPRAY motion sensors, and GRILLPLATS smart plugs to create a clean, integrated LED handrail that looks custom built.
