🚨VANDERLEI RODRIGO FOI O PRIMEIRO VOCALISTA A GRAVAR DISCOS DO TERCEIRA DIMENSÃO DE HORIZONTINA

🚨THIRD DIMENSION BAND: FROM VANDERLEI RODRIGO TO FLÁVIO DALCIN - THE MASTERS OF "I'M GOING TO SANTA CATARINA" Third Dimension began its activities in Horizontina, the city where it remains to this day, in 1976. The name, futuristic for the time, attempted to project the gigantic success that would come in the future. In its early stages, it featured none other than two of the most important vocalists in the genre during the 80s and 90s. Vanderlei Rodrigo fronted the band on the albums "Meu amor" (My Love), from 1988, and "Na Hora do Adeus" (At the Time of Farewell), from 1991, which already included some of the hits he would later re-record. In 1992, Flávio Dalcin, who would become the biggest name in the history of Third Dimension, came from a brief stint with the musical Sangue Latino. Before that, Dalcin had already made history with Corpo e Alma, with "Novela das Oito," "Ao Luar," and other songs. In his victorious trajectory with Terceira Dimensão, the highlight is the song that became a timeless hit in the genre, one of the last tracks on the album "A vocês, de coração" from 1994. "Vou Pra Santa Catarina" became a catchy tune in all the southern states. Following this came "Casar não é comigo" (1997), "Maria Tchá Tchá Tchá" (1998), as well as other hits like "Padre," "Cunhado," "Genro bom," and many others. In 2001, Terceira Dimensão began recording DVDs for ACIT, being the first band in the genre to have a DVD released. The band recorded their main hits, as well as unreleased tracks like "Anjo Paranaense," following the success of "Vou Pra Santa Catarina." In 2002, another hit broke through the mainstream band music scene. With "Um pedacinho do meu coração," Terceira Dimensão began playing on romantic music programs. In 2004 and 2005, the final acts of Flávio Dalcin's time with Terceira Dimensão brought a new wave of hits such as "Sereia," "A melhor noite da sua vida," "Pode descer cerveja," "Se quiser chorar, pode chorar," and also featured the participation of the newly arrived bassist from the band Real do Paraná, Paulinho Maurina, who recorded "Madrugada Fria." On the following album, in 2006, Flávio Dalcin was replaced by Paulinho Maurina, with the addition of Maicon Rodrigues. The band continued its trajectory without the same identity as in Dalcin's time, but released moderate hits such as "Chorei de Saudade" and "Cama Solitária". In 2010, "Só um de nós" was another well-executed song and marks the arrival of the current vocalist of Os Atuais, Paulinho Dill, sharing the role with Maicon Rodrigues. The band has a large following in the southern states and also in states with a large presence of migrants from Rio Grande do Sul, such as Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul. In addition, they perform in São Paulo, Bahia, and neighboring countries like Argentina and Paraguay. Currently, they still have two members from their original lineup, guitarist Sadi Tormes and trumpeter Aloisio Eloi Linck, as well as vocalist André Mallmann, who previously replaced Wilceu Pause in Musical Calmon, with his characteristic deep voice. Terceira Dimensão's most recent releases are "Beijão" (2023) and "Grudado no TikTok" (2022).
