The 1962 Film "The Longest Day" was an epic that sought to depict the invasion of Europe via Mainland France during WW2. With multiple production crews and an overwhelming ensemble cast, this 3 hour behemoth of a film will be divided into 2 parts. Part One being the preparation and night drops by airborne units, and Part 2 focusing on the ground forces landing on the beaches.
