Fixing the Black Screen for the Insta360 Link 2 Webcam in OBS

This video guides you through resolving a black screen issue with your webcam in OBS, specifically using the Insta360 Link 2. Steps below (for the Insta360 Link 2): 1. Open Insta360 Link Controller software. 2. Turn OFF preview (in the lower left of the controller software). 3. Make sure the virtual camera setting is OFF toward the upper right of the controller software (but also watch the linked tutorial from SolveBase, linked below, to make sure the OBS and controller settings are set up correctly). 4. 'Deactivate' the camera in 'OBS video capture device properties.' 5. Then Re-'Activate' the camera in 'OBS video capture device properties.' 6. Wait a few seconds Should Work! Note: Keep the preview OFF in the Insta360 Link Controller software. This way, the camera will flip up and turn on automatically when you open OBS. Then, when you close OBS, the camera will turn off automatically and flip down. You won't need to open the controller software anymore unless you want to change settings/effects or turn the AI motion tracking on/off.
