Seems we're going to have a bunch more though as there's a few things in the pipeline. For today's episode we're diving into one of my top favourite albums from Falt. Undercurrent/Wanderlust by Ayami Suzuki & Leo Okagawa. A wonderful collaborative live album consisting of two performances that date back to 2020, with Suzuki on vocals and pedals, and Okagawa on electronics, all resulting in something very mysterious and liminal. Vocalisations become beds of ambience as Okagawa throws these thinly strewn electronic frequencies all over the place. It is a beautiful and challenging record, one that digs right into the recesses of your own hearing as it all occurs.
