1 Hour of Questions Answered | Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced
My general thoughts on this game are that it's the first Assassin's Creed game in a long, long time, whose stealth, combat and parkour all taken TOGETHER exceed my minimum personal standards and desires. Most AC games have SERIOUS issues with one or more of these systems, but Assassin's Creed feels most like itself when all three are flowing INTO other properly. Resynced, for the faults it does have, does actually achieve this, which is praise I could NOT truly give to the games released in the last ten years. When I fight well, I can kill enemies instantly and lethally, and it doesn't depend on a number, a level, or dropping smoke. Two different players can move slower or faster than each other based on which manual jumps and ejects they choose to make, or recognize opportunities for in the space around them - and this is at launch, with no updates or patches. Stealth is not compromised by assassination "damage," Assassinations are Assassinations in this game, if you Hidden Blade someone, that enemy is simply dead. Stealth hinges on tools with ammo counts, not abilities with mana. That's what I want AC to do, and be. (Social Stealth needs help..)
