He has a deep interest on how students learn and has delivered numerous workshops on how to help teachers promote deeper learning for their students. He specializes in cooperative group strategies applied to the classroom. As creator of Activate Your Classroom, his goal is to help teachers engage their own students using techniques of low to moderate effort that are known to have high impact on student learning.
