Hiking the Most Scenic Place in Canada - Western Brook Pond, Gros Morne National Park

We did a day hike at what has to be the most incredible place I've ever been to! On the west coast of Newfoundland within Gros Morne National Park, Western Brook Pond is a huge in-land fjord (it's not connected to the sea) with stunning sheer rock cliffs. If you book a guide, they take you in a boat to the end of the fjord, and then you can hike up to the top, and take in a beautiful view showing the whole of the fjord that you came in from! Oh, and there's lots of beautiful waterfalls as well (many along the sides of the Fjord, and one at the top of the hike). It was a tough hike (we got soaked, as you saw), but it was totally do-able for most fitness levels so I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Newfoundland and wants a unique experience! The rain helped keep the bugs at bay, which was a nice bonus. We did the hike with Out East Adventures, and their tour guides were terrific. I can't recommend them enough! Their humor, knowledge and great leadership got us to the top safely and quickly. Our band's song from this video: https://polson.bandcamp.com/track/in-...
