In today's episode, I'm taking you on a journey to Podhale, one of the last places where you can still hear the unique call of the black grouse. Unfortunately, this species is disappearing before our eyes. Why is this happening? During this trip, I'll try to answer this question by examining changes in the environment and predatory pressure. You'll see not only the majestic courtship of black grouse, but also an encounter with the rare citrine wagtail and the courtship flights of snipes. But that's not the end of the excitement. On the way back through the Żywiec Beskids, fate finally smiled on me and allowed me to encounter a roe deer with the unique, patchy coat I'd been searching for for a long time! It's the buck from the roe deer episode :) In the film, you'll see: A behind-the-scenes look for black grouse in the field. An analysis of the causes of the decline of forest grouse in Poland.
