Paterson – A Town at the Foot of the Olifantskop Pass in the Eastern Cape! Ep 191

We unfortunately had no gravel roads to travel on to Paterson from Cookhouse but the road we took was beautiful. We crossed over the Suurberg mountains via the Olifantskop Pass which has some amazing views. We didn’t even know that we had arrived in Paterson because there were no visible signs. After fuelling up we started to explore this small town and the most obvious thing we noted was that it was yet another small town which was not doing too well. We visited the church and then the train station. Finding a moving train at this station was a highlight for us. The history of the town and where its name comes from was also very interesting. Then it was time to move on. #DustBugs #adventuretravel #southafrica #southafricavlog #paterson #easterncape #olifantskop Instagram   / dustbugstravel   Facebook   / dustbugstravel   Twitter   / dustbugstravel   Pinterest   / dustbugstravel
