Servicing a Centre Lathe

This video shows the process followed in servicing a centre lathe with a geared head stock. The lathe used is the Australian Hare and Forbes HAFCO AL-336, which is in fact a rebadged unit from China. This lathe is sold worldwide under a variety of brand names. The lathe has a geared headstock, quick change gearbox and geared apron all of which run in oil.
