The Hardest Road I've Cycled So Far 🇱🇦
Solo Bikepacking Northern Thailand & Laos Episode 8 of my solo bikepacking series in Northern Thailand & Laos follows a day that my body just wasn’t ready for. I leave Muang Xai and end up on a rough, endless road that shakes me to pieces – bad surface, constant traffic, and heat that slowly starts making me feel sick. As the day goes on I get more exhausted, start to feel unwell, and just try to hold myself together long enough to reach somewhere I can crash and recover. This series is all about slow, low‑budget travel, staying in local homes and villages, and seeing what happens when you cross Northern Thailand and Laos by bicycle with no strict plan. 📍 Route: Luang Namtha → Muang Xai 🚲 Trip: Solo bikepacking Northern Thailand & Laos
