Surrey's Police and Crime Commissioner Lisa Townsend has discussed Operation Shield in a new interview on BBC Radio Surrey. The Commissioner joined officers in Epsom town centre on Friday night as part of the operation, which aims to prevent criminality and tackle violence against women and girls. Plain-clothed officers joined uniformed colleagues to spot the signs of suspicious behaviour.
