Shiseido Essential Energy Hydrating Cream Review: Currently i'm trying out a new moisturiser from shiseido out of curiosity. This is a luxury brand so i'm not gonna discuss about the price, instead i will share with you the packaging details haha. Packaging: The jar is heavy and it comes with plastic applicator, i personally prefer to use my finger though. It comes with the refill so i can re use the jar again and again and most importantly to cut cost HAHA. Ingredients: Contain hyaluronic acid which claims to give 24hour intense moisture for the skin, and ginseng root extract for strengtening and soothing the skin moisture barrier. The cream is paraben free, non comedogenic, and mineral oil free. Texture: It's not as oily as my regular bioderma creme but this cream is more on the thicker side. I only use one small dollop to cover my entire face. Since my last breakout i don't dare to put on a lot of moisturiser like i used to because i'm scared the whiteheads might appear again. The cream does have a smell but it's not too strong, i don't notice the fragrance when using the cream but then again my nose is not that sharp, usually i can't even smell rotten dead rat. Overall, the packaging is obviously prettier than my drugstore products. When i buy the cream, i also received a lot of free samples which make the experience more fun. Ingredients wise i think i can find similar products in the drugstore. Is it worth it? i think for the sake of experience it's worth it. I kinda prefer shiseido over SKII but it's just my personal opinion.
