I design and build a simple wood rack, to easily load and haul a canoe or kayak in the bed of a truck, that also protects the cab. No matter the length, this rack will enable you to haul your canoe or large kayak in your truck bed without it hanging out past the tailgate up to 6 or even 8 feet, like is possible depending on the length of your watercraft if you haul it just lying in the bed of your truck.
